No capsaicin (heat), no salt Cajun Seasoning. Add those two ingredients to taste when done if wanted, use any cayenne or chili powder for heat, I use about 1 to 2 teaspoons for this recipe
1.5 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon sweet paprika (anything not hot is sweet enough)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon fine ground white pepper (black pepper is fine too)
1 teaspoon celery seed or celery salt
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon mustard powder
Instructions
- Thoroughly mix all of the ingredients together
- Transfer the mix to an airtight container
Mix 50/50 with flour for most “blackened” recipes, or use lightly without flour. Great for mild fish or chicken
